Every as-built single document is the wealth of your vessel. Part of the info may be available in soft copy, and some only in hard copy. One and a half decades back we discovered the methodology to scan and archive it all in one place, called sds.exe, and make it all available in PDF, giving vessel-specific uniform data with easy search functionality running on Acrobat Reader.
Having worked for all tanker vessels, LPG/C, rigs, accommodation barges, offshore PSV, OSV, ROV, tugs, MOPU, dredgers and SPS, our team is well tuned to the quality and accuracy of the job.
What we do
- Scanning of documents, manuals and drawings in the right page sequence, with total quality page checks.
- Assembly of other-sized pages of a booklet in the proper sequence.
- Providing index, bookmarks, hierarchy and search functionality, plus a global search across the data with keywords.
- Jumbo (large) pages in good printable quality, in original size (scale). Re-arrangement of hard copies with tags.
- Image processing, rectification of existing soft data, and GB to KB conversion.
- Uniformity of data across all files such as DWG, TIFF images, PDF etc. The exe data PDF runs on network drives, SharePoint and other DM systems.
- On-board vessel document scanning, and pickup and delivery from ports at the vessel’s arrival or departure schedule.

What do I receive after digitization?
Vessel-specific uniform PDF data with index, bookmarks, hierarchy and global keyword search, which runs on Acrobat Reader and also works on network drives, SharePoint and other document management systems.
Can you scan large drawings?
Yes. Jumbo (large) pages are scanned in good printable quality in their original size and scale.
Do you scan on board the vessel?
Yes. We offer on-board vessel document scanning, and pickup and delivery from ports to match the vessel’s arrival or departure schedule.
Which vessel types have you worked on?

How many vessels’ plans and manuals can you handle at a time?
Based on the nature and volume of the hard-copy boxes, we take on as many vessels as possible while maintaining good quality, and our office staff work in shifts to meet the delivery schedule.
