Planned Maintenance System
Our team prepares ships’ spare part data and maintenance procedures in an Excel template for global PMS systems with SFI coding. This is then imported into PMS systems such as SpecTec AMOS, Marad, ShipManager (DNV), ABS NS5, BASSnet or any other in-house ERP. We also take up a role in PMS implementation, data validation, enrichment, and standardizing the data and plans for shipping regulators.
What we do
- Preparation of equipment hierarchy, SFI codes and structure as appropriate for clients.
- Preparation of the vessel’s spare parts database from the equipment’s as-built manuals.
- Suitable template data formation to run on any network or global PMS software, including an existing ERP platform.
- We do not sell any software. We refer to the OEM manual and provide PMS feeds for onward import into the system instance used in the office or on the vessel.
- Spare parts comprising maker ref, parts code, position no. and drawing no. etc.
- Maintenance procedures and job descriptions from the maker’s manual, by marine engineers.
- Assigning groups, fixing intervals, and setting up calendar-based, counter-based and company standard jobs if any.
- Data validation and data correction, modification, and IMPA consumable store items tree in existing data.
- Solutions for upgrades when switching from one version to another, or to any other ERP or PMS system.
- Direct links to spare part pages from the PDF data.exe of our digitalized disc, with a global search feature.
